Quantitative filter paper

The filter paper for quantitative analysis FILTER-LAB® are manufactured using cellulose fibers and cotton linter high purity, which contain alpha-cellulose is practically 100%. These filter papers require a special production process.

Once manufactured the filter paper in the desired physical conditions (weight, thickness, filtration rate, etc.) began a process of washing with acids (usually HF and HCl) which concludes with a final cleaning with demineralized water. This will achieve two important characteristics:

* High resistance to wet state.
* Ash content less than 0.01%

Filter paper filter with the fastest speed in the range. It is very suitable for filtration of coarse precipitates as Fe (OH) 3, Al (OH) 3, Si O 2, Cr (OH) 3 or jelly, gravimetric analysis of particles in the air, determination of silica content in steel and iron, among others.
