Papers for chromatography

Papers for chromatography

A range of paper chromatography pure cellulose made from cotton linters with an alpha-cellulose content of 95% to guarantee a low ash content and the almost total absence of metal contaminants, especially Fe and Cu, which could give rise to interference.

These papers are used primarily in processes of chromatography and electrophoresis, for separating substances in a mixture according to the principle of suction velocity distribution. This is determined by the different sizes of molecules, distribution coefficients and molecular loads.

PC-3

It is greater in weight in grams and thickness than the range. For this reason, it is recommended for very heavy loads. Medium velocity of aspiration. Is the most used in transfer techniques by blotting according to the methods of capillary sandwich, moist or semi-dry electroblotting.
